FOCEI has a defined structure with six members Board of Trustees (BoT).  The Board of Trustees is the highest decision-making organ of the organization in conformity with global best practice and the organization’s constitution, approving policies and reviewing achievements and plans. It is responsible for planning and policy making of the organization. It also does the controlling and approving of all the activities of the Management Committee. The Board of Trustees (BoT) is head by Professor Daniel Davou Dabi:

1. Professor Daniel Davou Dabi is the Board Chairman and he is a Professor of Geography and Economic Impacts and a former Deputy Vice Chancellor at Plateau State University (PLASU), Bokkos, Jos, Plateau State. He obtained his PhD from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and he have received many traveling grants to attend and present papers at Seminars, Conferences and Workshops at home and abroad.
2. Kachalla Aliyuda, Member of the Board, He is a Lecturer with the Gombe State University Gombe, Nigeria and a Research Assistant, Center for Energy Research and Training Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria, he has obtained his PhD from University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen United Kingdom and has a great passion for community development work.
3. Linda Garba Allabura Member of the Board, she has spent most of her life in community development work, She is the co-founder and Executive Director of Foundation for Youth Awakening and Empowerment (FOYAE) and she won grants and usefully implement as Executive director of FOYAE from INGOs such as USAID, State2State, Global Fund, Global Environmental Facility, Ipas, to mention a few.
4. Rebecca Audu Kudi , Member of the Board She is a Young Entrepreneur with Pasion for Community Devolvement she has trained her fellow women of Entrepreneurship and has a poultry business in Gombe State.
5. Fatima Bala Sani , Member of the Board she is a Educationist and currently a PhD student with University of Jos and also a Project Team Member and Resource Person in the Gombe Mairuwa Project, Fulbright Association/United States Mission in Nigeria she Participated in the development of course manuals (ECR Facilitators’ Guide).2015-2018
6. Benjamin Maina, Secretary of the Board and a Nonvoting member of the Board and the Chief Executive Officer of the organization, has the responsibility of related the BOT with the management team. He is a graduate of University of Jos, Nigeria and obtained Master’s Degree in Environmental resources and Planning. He has been in development work for more than a decade during which accomplished and gain great deal in experience in Civil society engagement and also work in project funded by INGOs such as USAID (United State Aid), GEF (Global Environmental Facility), UNDP (United Nation Development Fund) GF (Global Fund and Global Shapers to mention but a few.
